Modeled after the kind of ranging reticle you see in an armored vehicle sight, this one uses a slim white chevron over a thin vertical post instead of standard cross arms. The open tip keeps your aim point clear without covering targets at range, which suits Rust rifles and slower, deliberate shooting. There is no center dot or outline, so it stays clean on dark backgrounds. Runs as an overlay in any game through Crosshair X on Steam, free to try on the Microsoft Store.

How to use it

  1. Install Crosshair X from Steam (or the free trial on the Microsoft Store).
  2. Subscribe to this crosshair on its Workshop page, or find “BMP1 F” in the in-app Workshop browser.
  3. Select it in Crosshair X. It appears at the center of any game through the Xbox Game Bar overlay. No game files touched.

Is this crosshair free?
