How do I set a different crosshair per weapon?
Crosshair X lets you assign each of your saved crosshairs to its own key, so you can instantly switch shape and size when you swap weapons — no need to open the crosshair panel mid-match.
Set it up on the Keybinds page
1
First, go to the Position & Size page and make sure the global Size value is set to 1. This is a master multiplier — leaving it at another value will scale every crosshair.
2
Go to the Keybinds page and remove any keybind that toggles or cycles crosshair size/shape globally (set the action to No action), so it doesn't interfere with your per-weapon binds.
3
Still on the Keybinds page, at the bottom you can add each of your saved crosshairs and assign a key to each one (for example, bind
1 to your rifle crosshair, 2 to your sniper dot, and so on).4
In-game, press the assigned key to instantly switch to that crosshair. Match the keys to your weapon-swap keys so it feels automatic.
Using a script or macro?
There's no separate API needed — just have your script simulate pressing the key you assigned to each crosshair, and Crosshair X will switch exactly as if you pressed it yourself.
