How do I center my crosshair?
If your crosshair sits slightly off to one side instead of the true center of your screen, it's almost always because the position offset has been changed from its default. Resetting it takes a few seconds.
Reset the position offset

Open Crosshair X and go to the Position & Size page.

Set both Offset values to 0, 0. This places the crosshair back in the exact middle of your screen instead of relying on manual dragging.

If you use Game Bar Mode, you can also press Windows Key + G to open the Game Bar, then click the center option in the Crosshair X Extension window to re-align it.
Still slightly off by a pixel or two?
A tiny, stubborn offset that won't go away no matter what you set is usually a sign you're running an outdated version. Fully close Crosshair X (including from the system tray), update to the latest version through your store, then reopen it and check again.
Playing a stretched resolution?
Stretched 4:3 setups center the same way — reset the Offset values to 0, 0 on the Position & Size page and the crosshair will land in the true center of the stretched image.
