Two curved white brackets sit on either side of a small center dot, leaving the middle of your screen almost completely open. There are no vertical arms at all, so nothing blocks a head peeking over cover, which makes it a fun experimental pick for Rainbow Six Siege or any tactical shooter where you hold tight angles. The dot gives you a precise aim point while the brackets frame it loosely. Runs as an overlay in any PC game through Crosshair X on Steam, and it is free to try on the Microsoft Store.

How to use it

  1. Install Crosshair X from Steam (or the free trial on the Microsoft Store).
  2. Subscribe to this crosshair on its Workshop page, or find “shiel” in the in-app Workshop browser.
  3. Select it in Crosshair X. It appears at the center of any game through the Xbox Game Bar overlay. No game files touched.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the shiel crosshair in my game?

Install Crosshair X from Steam, subscribe to this design on its Workshop page (or inside the app), then select it. Crosshair X draws it at the center of your screen over any game.

Is it safe with anti-cheat?

Crosshair X is an Xbox Game Bar overlay that runs outside the game process: no hooks, no injection, no game-file changes. It has been in use across Vanguard, VAC, EAC and BattlEye titles for years with no ban reports we know of. Full breakdown: Is Crosshair X safe?.

Is this crosshair free?

The crosshair itself is included, like everything on the Crosshair X Workshop. Crosshair X is $3.99 on Steam, and the Microsoft Store version has a free trial so you can test it first.
