Sometimes all you need is a single point of aim. Red Dot keeps it minimal, just a small red dot in the center of your screen with no arms, no gap, and nothing to block your view of a target's head. It works well in tactical shooters like Counter-Strike where precise taps matter more than spray tracking. Load it as an overlay through Crosshair X on Steam and it sits on top of any PC game.

How to use it

  1. Install Crosshair X from Steam (or the free trial on the Microsoft Store).
  2. Subscribe to this crosshair on its Workshop page, or find “Red Dot” in the in-app Workshop browser.
  3. Select it in Crosshair X. It appears at the center of any game through the Xbox Game Bar overlay. No game files touched.

Is it safe with anti-cheat?

Crosshair X is an Xbox Game Bar overlay that runs outside the game process: no hooks, no injection, no game-file changes. It has been in use across Vanguard, VAC, EAC and BattlEye titles for years with no ban reports we know of. Full breakdown: Is Crosshair X safe?.

Is this crosshair free?
