Bogus started as a random Blender experiment by mnkn and grew into a soft, animated pointer with a retro shape and layered shading. Every layer's color is yours to change, which also makes it easier to spot on dim screens, and the settings still include the original pointer plus a crosshair. It suits people who want something cute on an otherwise businesslike desktop. The whole thing runs as a live desktop cursor via Mouse X on Steam.
