Static cursor skin
Chippy is paranoidfbi's little PNGsona, drawn in chunky pixel art that reads clearly even at cursor size. The face has a soft retro look, like a sprite from an old handheld game, and it stays put as a static image with no animation to distract you. Install it through Mouse X on Steam and it runs as a live desktop cursor, replacing the standard Windows arrow everywhere you point. Fans of small pixel mascots and cozy retro desktops will feel right at home with it.
“Hi! I'm ParanoidFBI. I made this for myself, though, anyone can use it really. It's my PNGsona, chippy.” (paranoidfbi, on the Workshop)
Use this cursor on your desktop
Get Mouse X on Steam. There’s a free demo, so you can try it first.
Subscribe to this skin on its Workshop page, or find “Paranoidfbi's Chip” in the in-app browser.
Select it in Mouse X and your Windows cursor changes instantly. No hooks, no injection.
Install Mouse X from Steam, then subscribe to the skin on its Workshop page (or inside the app). Mouse X downloads it and you can apply it with one click. No .cur files, no Control Panel digging.
Does it work on Windows 11?
Yes. Mouse X supports Windows 10 and 11, uses very little memory and CPU, and doesn’t hook or inject into games or other apps, so it runs quietly alongside everything else.
Is this cursor free?
The skin itself is free, like everything on the Mouse X Workshop. Mouse X is $2.99 on Steam, and the free demo lets you try custom cursors before buying.
