Animated cursor skin
Your pointer becomes a small pixel art shield modeled after the Unicorn Gundam's base form from UC 0096, drawn at 64x64 in Aseprite by creator Mephistopheles and animated as a looping GIF. Running as a live desktop cursor through Mouse X on Steam, the shield follows your hand across every window at a crisp upscaled 128x128. Fans of mecha anime and chunky retro sprites will get a kick out of it, and it is a fan work with no official affiliation.
“Sonething I put together quickly for myself! But I thought why not share? The Sheild of Gundam Unicorn base form, UC:0096 Made with Aseprite :P Pixls: 64x64 Upscaled Res: 128x128” (Mephistopheles, on the Workshop)
Use this cursor on your desktop
Get Mouse X on Steam. There’s a free demo, so you can try it first.
Subscribe to this skin on its Workshop page, or find “Unicorn Gundam Shield” in the in-app browser.
Select it in Mouse X and your Windows cursor changes instantly. No hooks, no injection.
How do I install the Unicorn Gundam Shield cursor?
Install Mouse X from Steam, then subscribe to the skin on its Workshop page (or inside the app). Mouse X downloads it and you can apply it with one click. No .cur files, no Control Panel digging.
Does it work on Windows 11?
Yes. Mouse X supports Windows 10 and 11, uses very little memory and CPU, and doesn’t hook or inject into games or other apps, so it runs quietly alongside everything else.
Is this cursor free?
The skin itself is free, like everything on the Mouse X Workshop. Mouse X is $2.99 on Steam, and the free demo lets you try custom cursors before buying.
